POST 7

Today I’m gonna talk about English Class.
Past summer, I spend time with a group of foreign and I need to speak in English to talk with them, understand them was easy for me but speak was harder. I use to translate sentences that I make in Spanish to English and sometime it sound really bad. But Well, after the summer I stay really motivated on continue practicing my English, and there is when English subject appears.

This semester I really enjoy English class. Why? ..Because is the only subject I have on Fridays; it start at 9 o’clock of morning and it ends at mid-day, so it’s a really relaxing end of the week; as well this class is really interactive and we need to speak English the whole class, which is really good because we are always practicing and I’m achieving one of my goals for the year.

Outside the English class I used frequently English, mainly for read, write or listen, and sometimes for speaking but less frequently. I use to watch movies or videos in English with English subtitles this way I can associate the pronunciation with the word, reading is other way that I used English, I need read sometimes for the classes and for my own entertainment too.

I would like to have English until C1 level, but well I’m happy for my experience on English at university, I learned a lot and feel more trust about my speaking than a year ago. I pretend to continue practicing and learning as much as I can and in a future dominate English so much as Spanish.

See you next week!

POST 6

Hi everyone! Well, today I'm going to talk about Changes to my Study program.
The true about this, is I discarded changes to my study program. Why? Because I was delay on my studies. So, normally in my career when you change your study program, you finish delaying your studies, that's the major cause why I do not want changes in my study program, I do not want to delay more my studies. Although I would have liked to change my program, but well there is always something to sacrifice.

Right now I'm focused on finishing my studies here in Chile, that way once I finished I can be able to travel to a lot of places, and looking for a forester job instead of a university or a place to study. I'm not closed to take an future opportunity to learn and study something in other country, maybe I can take some shorter courses related with things I like to do. I still being young so life will tell me.

In the scenario that I want to change my study program, I will choose Canada.  I really like this country, its culture and its nature, so I think I can enjoy studying and living months in this place. But to be honest, I prefer to go to Canada to look for some jobs and to experience the country in a different way that studying.

That's all for this week, I hope you have a great weekend!

 See you next week.

POST 5

Hello.

Well, after I graduate at forestry engineer, I do not want to take a major because I was studying for a lot of years of my life, but maybe I can take a major once I'm older and I felt with more different experiences like take a job related with forestry.

I'm open to any job during my life, but one of the jobs that I'll like to do is the management of native forest. My strengths in management of native forest are the ecosystem view that I have about forests, so management it's like a kind of gardener, but with a wider knowledge about the forest functions and interaction, so all the decisions that I'll take while gardening are going to be in harmony with the entire place. I prefer to do this job in the south of the country, because I really love the vegetation that we have in the south and their landscapes.

Managing the forest you can see big changes in the landscape, but sometimes the changes are long term changes and other times they are short term, so you can see the client instantly happier. Another reason why I want to do management in the forest is that you spend a lot of time outdoor, inside on the forest.

Hope see you next week!

Hello!

Today I’m going to talk to you about a magic and powerful cactus called “San Pedro”.

Echinopsis pachanoi, known as San Pedro Cactus, is a cactus native to the Andes Mountains at 2000 – 3000 meters in altitude. It has a long story of being used in Andean traditional medicine, it has been used for healing and religious divination in the Andes for over 3000 years, maybe cause it has the powerful alkaloid called “Mescaline”, that is psychedelic drug and entheogen.

This Cactus is really beauty, that’s why it is widely grown in the world as an ornamental cactus, it has a huge white flower that really calls anybody attention and can grow a lot of them.

In the other hand, it’s really easy to propagate, if you have a San Pedro cactus you only need to cut in medium pieces and replant it in the ground. When you propagate by cuttings you are cloning the cactus, so all of the pieces are the same living organism. That’s crazy, imagine we can clone ourselves and live in various bodies at the same time. 😲

So I invite you to cultivate one of this magical cactus, to be protected with energy of the Andean millenaries ancestors.

See you next week, bye.

One of my bests holidays was in 2014’s summer.

In these holidays I went  to  “Cochamo”, this was a big valley surrounded of bigs mountains of granite, these mountains looks likes really huges solid rocks with the size of a mountain, its similar to Yosemite granite’s formations. One of the bests things is that you only can reach that place by trekking four hours in Cochamo river’s valley, so you feel really disconnected from the civilization and anywhere that you look there is a beautiful landscape that massage your brain with a pleasure feeling. On the other hand you don’t have problems with the most important thing for a human body, water. Cochamo is a place full of rivers and streams where you can drink delicious and cold water, so it’s difficult to die desidrated.  Also it was the paradise for rock climbers and trekkers, so when  I went to this place I spend one month knowing and climbing the place, these was really relaxing, funny and enriching holidays. It was really shocking leaved this place after one month living there, I felt sadly but I knewn that Im gonna come back.

Blogging experience

Today I’m going to talk about my blogging experience, but the true about this is very sad.
When I started blogging I felt very good, because I expressed things about my life, and I showed it to the entire world. Other important thing about blogging is that the English class becomes in something very funny and dynamic because the blog themes are always changing.  I thought all the week about post something.
But as the time passed, I started to feel a little sad, because I saw my blog visits and there were just a few persons that really watched my blog, and only two persons commented one of my entries. That situation broke my heart and I decided to stop blogging, and I don’t care about the mark in the English class.

Well with this entry, I say good bye to the few visitors of my blog, and I wish you a good end of the year.

Good Luck.
